CodeAlpha return Policy
At CodeAlpha, we stand behind the quality of our badminton gear and want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Our return policy is guided by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA), which protects your rights when buying goods for personal use.
Faulty or Damaged Products
If your item is faulty or damaged, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) to provide a repair, replacement, or refund.
Please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order if:
The item is defective or faulty through no fault of your own
It is not as described or doesn’t match the sample or demo model
It is not fit for its intended purpose
To start a return, email info@codealpha.co.nz with your order number and a description of the issue. Photos may be requested for initial assessment, and in some cases, we may need the item returned to us for inspection before we can process a repair, replacement, or refund.
Change of Mind
While we are not required to accept returns if you simply change your mind, we may offer an exchange or store credit on a case-by-case basis. To be eligible:
Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.
Return requests must be made within 14 days of purchase.
Return shipping is at the customer’s expense.
We reserve the right to decline returns that do not meet these conditions.
Refunds
Where applicable, refunds will be processed via the original payment method. Please allow up to 10 working days for processing once we receive and assess the item.
Shipping Costs
If your return is due to a fault or error on our part, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
For all other returns (including change of mind), shipping costs are non-refundable and must be covered by the customer.
International Orders
We ship worldwide. Please note:
International shipping costs are higher than domestic shipping within New Zealand and will vary based on location and order size.
Once your order is placed, we’ll calculate the shipping cost and contact you with the final total before processing.
Any customs duties, taxes, or import charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
Return shipping from international locations must be organised and paid for by the customer unless the product is faulty.
How to Return an Item
Contact Us – Email info@codealpha.co.nz with your return request and order number.
Approval – Once approved, we’ll provide return instructions and the return address.
Return Item – Package your item securely and send it back to us.
Assessment – After assessment, we’ll process your refund, exchange, or repair.
